Rajan Gupta is the Head of Legal Technology at Facebook, Inc. His strategic-thinking, managerial experience, and expertise in technology and program management is derived from the unique and diverse perspectives he gained from Facebook, Amazon, Google and Qualcomm. Rajan has a wide breadth of knowledge in Legal, Telecommunications and Retail markets.

At Facebook, Rajan manages global technical programs, budgets, vendor engagements and strategy for Legal. He leverages his experience to build an efficient legal department by utilizing state of the art technology and driving world class operating metrics. In his current role, Rajan oversees technological initiatives related to Payments Compliance, Legal Learning, Brands and Domains, IP, Litigation, Contracts, Privacy, Compliance and Risk controls.

Rajan also serves as a Knowledge Advisor on multiple startup, large company boards, and International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). He also frequently speaks at events to champion and promote technology.

Prior to his legal career, Rajan architected and developed solutions in the Telecom and Retail industries for Qualcomm, GERS Retail Systems and Litton Systems. He graduated from UCSD with a Computer Engineering degree and is certified in Intellectual Property.

Rajan was born in Kenya and speaks Swahili.
