About ILCA Chapters

ILCA has five Regional Chapters, one in each of the African sub-regions: North Africa, East Africa, West Africa, Southern Africa, and Central Africa. Each Regional Chapter is made up of Country Chapters, which are set up as independent, registered entities under applicable national laws. ILCA also functions as an umbrella organisation for its Student Chapters, which are established across African tertiary institution.

ILCA’s simple structure offers strategic independence and flexibility to chapter members to meet local needs by leveraging resources and expertise from a wider network of professionals.

ILCA’s chapters are dynamic, innovative, and leading organisations in their respective jurisdictions. They typically have a management team constituted and elected in accordance with their respective by-laws, with such powers, procedures, membership and functions as such by-laws may provide.
